What Can I Say?
These past two weeks I have witnessed such a remarkable outpouring of love and blessing. One of the most profound blessings in a life with Christ is fellowship with the saints, and when that fellowship carries a rare unity of heart, soul and mind, it is precious beyond compare. After experiencing a long famine of that thriving, living community of believers, the flood-gate opened and love came pouring in and washed over our famished souls and filled us with abundant vibrant joy.
And, come to think of it, this was the time of Pentecost, the feast time in scripture of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the believers present in that room of old, that still reverberates through time to the present.
421 I am thankful for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit…
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23
We were so blessed to have several beautiful families assembling with us and after we prayed together one very precious child asked to sing “Jesus Loves Me”. As we all sang this song ,so dear to children, I was reminded of childlike faith and how pleasing that is to our Father. Then this precious young son said, “I know a fun one we can sing…”B-I-B-L-E”. So he lead and we all joined the chorus and we were all so very blessed. From there the Holy Spirit touched each heart and we spoke about the Bible, the Scriptures that are so important in our walk…to show us right from wrong…the sword of the Spirit.
433 Assembling with the believers
434 Singing together songs of praise and worship
435 Child-like faith
“And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings Thou hast perfected praise?” Matthew 21:16
“O YHWH our Lord, how excellent is Thy name in all the earth! Who hast set Thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast Thou ordained strength because of Thine enemies, that Thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.” Psalms 8:1-2

444 The sound of the most incredible male voice I have ever heard and the man behind it that I have been privileged to know, singing out with the fervor of every bone and sinew in his being about true freedom and the incredible crescendo that leaves tears in your eyes and takes the very breathe away as he belts out …THE GREAT I AM… What can I say? Thank you Brian…
446 The faithfulness of God to deliver us from prison and bondage…
“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26
447 Singing praises in the midst of trials
448 Seeing the peaceable fruit of righteousness through the chastening of our Father
“Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.” Hebrews 12:11
449 Astonished reverence ~ ”…I believe that the reverential fear of God, mixed with love and fascination and astonishment and adoration, is the most enjoyable state and the most purifying emotion the human soul can know. A true fear of God is a beautiful thing, for it is worship, it is love, it is veneration. It is high moral happiness because God is!” ~Tozer
What can I say? Because God is the great I AM.
450 Love that binds 🙂
